Free Blood Test Of 400 In Lamjung Duipiple

Tourism Pokhara. A free health camp concluded on Saturday organised by Duipiple Hospital Pvt. Ltd, MadhyaNepal-4,  Duipiple Lamjung and technically assisted by United Reference Laboratory (URL) from Pokhara Lekhnath.  Free blood test related to sugar and bad fat of 407 individuals was done in the health camp.

Ramesh Kumar Pandey, Mayor of Madhya Nepal Municipality said, “Only a healthy person can be leader, be it family, society or whole nation.” Mentioning the eastern civilization that has taught us varieties of methods of treatment he said that an individual should leave careless, over luxurious and carnivore life. He added ,”Devotion, satisfaction and sacrifice help us live a healthy life.”

Dr. Biswa Raj Baral, Physician of Gandaki Health Science Institution informed that non communicable diseases are increasing in least developed countries like ours. He added obesity, passive lifestyle, tension, feeding habits are the reason for many diseases so  proper care should be given to these things. He tagged Sugar as a source of diseases and said, ” Sugar itself isn’t a disease but a source to varieties of  diseases.”

Thakur Prasad Panta, Director of URL said that no disease attacks critically at once so timely treatment can cure such disease and bring back healthy life. He informed that URL have successfully completed 45 health camps in various places to fulfill their responsibility towards convenient access of health services to public.

Nirmal Gautam, Chairman of Ward no. 4 of Madhya Nepal municipality and Ramkrishna Shrestha, Chairman of Duipiple Market Management Committee also expressed their view in the program. The program was chaired by Chairman of hospital Subedar Prem Jung Gurung and anchored by Ombir Gurung and Ramesh Bhattarai.
