Pokhara Tourism Council will be taking initiative to expand air networks in Nepal.
Concluding the Nepali Tourism Promotion Campaign in North India, Chiranjivi Pokharel, Chairman of the Council, said that the Council will initiate to establish direct air link between Chandragadi of Kakadbhitta in Indo-Nepal border and Pokhara. He also emphasized on the suggestion of Indian tourism entrepreneurs to make Nepal’s air service more effective.
In the program, Chairman Pokharel and Ganesh Bahadur Bhattarai, tourism entrepreneur from Pokhara, awarded certificate of participation to members of Nepali promotional campaign team at Bengal Travel Mart. According to program coordinator Sanjaya Kant Sigdel, the Promotional Tours team discussed the possibilities of business partnership with Eastern Himalaya Travel and Tour Operator Association. The association that operates tourism business in six states of North India was the organizer of Bengal Travel Mart.
He also informed that the team discussed with Tour Operator Association of Asam for a strategic tourism partnership between Pokhara and Guhati.
